Rushing forward, they passed through the swirl of magic and light, and emerged through the tethered gate on the Vratorian side. The raiders attacked the hill where the portal to Derissian remained open, while Calibus and Devir held them off. With one powerful blow of her scepter of destruction, the stone archway shattered under Rien's fury, and the party rushed back, wading the hail of arrows of sunder, leaving the gateway to crumble, and seal the gateway to Vratorian forever!
