My husband was conceptualizing a Krogan character and it made me want to draw his design, so that’s my little doodle for today. He wanted his head crest to be colored like the carapaces in my Tyranid army, so I obliged. It’s supposed to be black with teal striping, but I lightened it up so you could still see the lineart. No idea what this guy’s name is, but I like him. But it turns out that I had a MUCH harder time with drawing a Krogan than I did with those Turians yesterday. Was not expecting that. And just for grins and because they’re fun to draw, I doodled another space chicken in the bottom left. This one feels more feminine than my last two. I need to find some pictures of female Turians…

Daaaw, I mean no disrespect. In my tumblr post I explain that I have much love for them, but I find it fun to reference their design inspiration as I read about it. I tried to keep the description shorter here to avoid TL;DR.
They are not truly space chickens. They are an amazingly awesomely designed alien race and probably one of my favorite things about the Mass Effect world in general. Henceforth I shall not refer to them as space chickens, but rather by their proper names. My apologies. :)
