I personally don't know Sajira whatsoever, but I have been in love with her character, Starburst, for a while now. This character was actually one of the reasons why I started watching her in the first place lol!
Here's the description of the character in Sajira's words:
She is an Earth pony healer. She lives out in the desert near the buffalo herds. She prefers to live alone. Her mane glows softly like starlight, the only proof of her Alicorn heritage. She feels shunned by her Father's people and prefers the company of the buffalo. They do not judge her for her parentage.
Honestly, gorgeous character, interesting backstory and just a clean crisp design. ^^ I saw that it was her birthday today so I figured it was time to push up this piece of fan art I've been wanting to do for a while. ^^

Spectacular work as always hun! ~hugs~ I love the way you draw ponies. Well, I love the way you draw everything, actually. I'm using on of your landscapes as a wallpaper, in fact. ^^
I see having pony characters with mixed parentage is getting common. My ponysona is the product of a zebra-corn (not sure what you'd call it, they didn't really cover it in the show) named Zathurin and a changeling named Toxyn. As you know, Changelings need love to survive. Well, this particular Changeling figured she'd get all the love she needed if she married the guy. And, although it's forbidden in their society, she also fell in love with him. Soon after wards, a young Alicorn (I have no idea if it's still called that when you're dealing with Changelings) was born, and that's how Shadow Spiral came to be. =3
