This is a belated birthday gift for my puma bro
tonite, I wanted to practice some more with felines so that I dont draw canids only XP
Tonite likes those poses a lot so I drew his puma character laying onto something like a rocky beach, somewhere near the ocean ^^
all done the traditional, old fashioned way again, no photoshop ^^
I hope you like it <3

You definitely nailed the feline facial features. He's got those adorable cat cheeks ^w^
The paws look good and solid (like his build).
The background seems a little... incongruous with the amount of detail put into the subject matter. Which isn't necessarily bad - one wouldn't want the background to draw attention away - there just seems to be less in it than in a lot of your other works.

Aww I am very very happy you like it so much, I am sorry your birthday present got finished a bit too late but my finals are just in time too, I just hope I made you very happy with that picture, I put all my love to the detail into this little pic, and I had lots of fun drawing it <3
Well, then I shall once again start my usual comment, also known as “short story”! *grins*
I will work myself through different aspects of the artwork and give comments about it. This time in super-colour, too!
CHARACTER:
First of all, it’s really nice to see a “non-canine” character from your capable hands. We both have talked about it already and I really like the result. Also, you’re very fit at drawing canines… so a feline was a welcome change.
Secondly, the character itself is very well done. Nice body, very smooth and fitting choice of colours, too.
And the guy’s anatomy is strong and cool, as usual! ^____^
When it comes to the shorts, you’ve come up with a cool idea… to use a white cloth for the middle part of the shorts, hehehehe. This is not only an accentuation, but it’s also a well chosen pattern in the cloth’s design. I love it!!!!
Also: thanks for adding the stronger shades (as I proposed) cast by his right hand! ^^ *hugs*
Most people are afraid to use strong shading… like “Eeeew, you cannot see my pretty face anymore!” But that’s not the point. You try to express a certain realism and that’s why you have to follow the rules of light/shadow. And you did well!
DETAILS:
All the small details, which are lovely, as usual: the strings of the shorts, the very cool (and now fitting) glasses and the blanket on the rocky ground. In my opinion, the ground is a little bit too hard… but that cougar is a tough guy, so he certainly won’t mind! ^^”
But my back would hurt after a sunbathing session on the rocks….. XD
BACKGROUND:
To make the long story short: I could call it “your usual background”. But that’s not a bad thing. You have picked a pretty, warm and sunny time of the year… and fine blue skies. BUT there is one detail or aspect I’d like to point out: I find it really good that you have NOT drawn your usual “huge fluffy clouds” this time. It’s a welcome change and it does keep the viewer’s attention on the character!
But the surface of the water is a bit too similar (in colour and appearance) to the sky… maybe you could mix another colour into the water next time… or use more bright highlights. :3
FLAWS / ERRORS:
When looking at the final artwork, it APPEARS that his legs are a little bit too short… or maybe that’s just because of the massive torso and arms. I think, the pose of the character also underlines the appearance of a very “short” body. But when I look at my old “Masters of the Universe” action-figures… I can say: “Hey! They are correct and very short, too!” ^_^ After all, a muscled body always appears very “compact” and that’s the case here, as well. Okay, why not? This cougar is just a little bit shorter… eh, MUCH shorter than “DJ” (who I’m used to, I suppose). Alrighty then!
Thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!

Yay, a reply to a reply!! ^_^ Thanks!!!!
You may be right, other artists shall also benefit from such comments.
Oh, about your question... reading stories takes a little bit more time, but I can do this, too.
After all, I'm a teacher for the subjects German and English.
Hm... if you have a story you'd REALLY want to get a comment, I would consider writing one. ^_^"

No problem at all :) I'm a writer and write muscle fur stories on my own fursona muscle fur, Furvus Wolf, and DJ is a muscle fur who is featured in those stories also. Feel free to check out my works on my FA page and it would be great to get comments by you for my works :) I'll be sure to note you with some of my recent works also :)
I DO love cats! ...
And this one has to be the sexiest feline I've seen so far. >//////<...
The pose, that gorgeous muscle density (especially on his arms. Oh wow, those biceps look awesome, toned and veined <3 )... and the characteristic lining and coloring that makes your muscle pics so beautiful.
Lastly, haha, as you know me, I'd say those abs are more than sexy~ you're getting so good at building muscles on different poses, dear bro. n///n
