Part of the huge old sign on the Chicago Theater- just the "go" in "Chicago". The theater was built in 1921 at the height of the craze for then-new "talkies", and has operated continuously ever since, though now it hosts live performances from famous music and theater acts. It's now owned by the same people who manage Madison Square Garden, oddly enough.

There were so many of those cinema palaces in the city, and it is too bad that quite a few of them have been demolished. With that being said there are still quite a few theatres around the City and the suburbs like the Chicago Theatre still floating around which is neat.
One cannot beat the location of the Chicago Theatre, and I always like catching a show in the theatre district.
