Having recently lost one of my all-time favorite D&D characters to a dragon, I'm not sad to see a dead one.

She lost her horns when she was exiled? (Forgive me if that's already been covered, I still have some catching up to do.)

It's a good question and would have come up sooner or later. The horns on her helmet are removable. She would normally take them off for a battle so they wouldn't get in the way. Their purpose is only to identify her. All her sister Valkyries look the same, so they all have different helmet crests and insignias to identify them. Rossweisse has the horns on her helmet as her crest and a white horse painted on her shield as her insignia.

So it boils down to heraldry (before it got all tied into genealogy and so forth).

H'rm. Did Groat draw the dragon?

No, but there may be some Groat influence since we lived near each other at the time and I often spent time at his place watching tv and drawing.

(nods) That dragon eye looks Groatlike.
