That aside, I love the scene as a whole! Great work and very nice detail!
I have no idea how you do such a good job on backgrounds. If I ever make it rich and decide to put together a team to make a furry movie I am totally hiring you for backgrounds.
It means there is no hearth like your own hearth. I thought that the way it sounded matched the pic.

Being married to a bunny, its fantastic to see the rougher, tougher side in this painting.

Technisch ist es wirklich sehr gut. Und ich mag die Figur - der Krieger sieht so schön unheldenhaft verwittert aus :)
Aber darf ich auch was kritisieren?
Die linke bildhälfte besteht nur aus Bergen. Es gibt gegen Berge rein prinzipiell-ideologisch nichts einzuwenden. Sehr romantisch und so :) Normalerweise mag ich auch Berge. Und ich finde, du malst sehr hübsche Berge. Aber du benutzt Berge wirklich ein bisschen inflationär in letzter Zeit. Also, falls die Linke hälfte für irgendwas layout-technisches, wie z.B. der eigentliche Kalender, reserviert sein sollte, okay, dann macht's sinn. Aber so finde ich, hat das Bild auf der rechten Seite so ein gewisses Übergewicht - nicht zuletzt weil die Landschaft sehr stereotyp ist. Ich hab grade mal das gesamte linke viertel bis drittel abgedeckt ... und das Bild verliert dadurch in meinen Augen nichts. Naja, ausser ein paar pixeln Schottland ...
(Heh. Wodran merkt man, daß ich mich gerade von unangenehmer Arbeit ablenken will? :) )
