I become delusional while working with baby bords at the rescue.
They are actually all my children.
does not agree.
(LOOK I even made it accurate you are carrying a tray with food/water haha. If I get around to drawing another it will involve those monstrous blue jays that attack when you walk outside with food XD)

Yeah, the one I work at actually has both! Tons of very diverse exotics, both large and small (Many kinds of Macaws, Amazons, Meyer's parrots, Quakers, Conures, African greys, Budgies, Cockatoos, Cockatiels, and there was even a rare Vasa parrot there for a short time). There's a seperate room where they keep the local wild birds, and behind the house in the backyard (the lot is pretty huge) they keep Birds of prey.
Since I know that nobody in my house could handle the noise of being overrun by birds except for me, it's fun to just foster a couple of exotics now and then. I've fostered a Sulfer-crested Cockatoo, Several cockatiels, and a Patagonian Conure so far.
They're lucky since - as a licensed rehabilitator - they can keep wild birds as pets if they happen to either imprint too much or cannot be released to the wild because of an injury. There's a Great Horned Owl there who is missing a wing, that is now a permanent resident of the rescue and he is my babby. ;n;
