teslacoil is powered by a group of vacuum variable capacitors and the arcs from the tesla are focused through a the use of an electromagnet grouping, a sextupole magnet in what i'm making, and directed as one bolt that can reach out to 200 meters

So, how does it maintain accuracy at range? From what I understand, the primary roadblock to lightning guns is getting the lighting to go where you want it. Or... have I been a bit stupid and this actually for a different kind of weapon entirely?

well, if theres one person it hits them since they're grounded, if its a group your aiming at then it doesnt matter since most if not all will be at least seriously hurt
theres also the magnets directing the bolt

nope, more like the wunderwaffe DG-2 but if the shot curved by a few degrees should you be off target minutely
