asked for a few advises to people around here,
at least one of them gave me an explanation with steps, so I managed a quick sketch and threw some color at it with lots of brush strokes over and over again,
I guess I missed the point of it..........as I did it all in one layer ">n> (which wasn't the way of doing it aparentally)
so, in short,
quick color sketch of my llama oc with her hoodie and a little biter expression, just because I don't wanna fuck with expressions mixed with colors and shadows right now. used those three colors there plus the one from the background. did this in middle of writting a long ass essay. 30 minutes or so <n<
put in scraps because it ain't your regular furry porn BC

:CC sorry, didn't mean to brag ;n;
makin' things in a rush ain't always ok, man, that's a disadvantage I got, I can't really focus on a drawing for long, I get either distracted or I just can't follow the idea and I end up with unfinished work ;n;
putting more effort on something is always better than an 'easily and sloppily' done work ;x;

You're on the right track I'd say...
couple of things that stand out to me at the moment(im a bit tired too so ill look again when i have time)
1) I'd soften up that neck area it looks very stressed for her expression. For that area the more you see the more you see the more stress there is on that area and the colllar bone as well is a bit too pronounced...
2) really think about your light source and push your darks and lights further. If you're using Photoshop you can quickly change it to black and white by pressing ctrl+shift+U to check how it reads in a greyscale. The point of focus you want your viewers to see should have the most contrast out of the entire image...
That's al I have for now though and I hope that in my sleepy state of mind it was helpful...
