Oh and you thought she was going to toss him inside, silly viewer... this may be a long series. :) She sets him down onto the ground once more. The human instantly moves to one of her shackles and begins to work upon it. She leans in close to observe him, continuing her conversation up close, her breath still filling his nostrils of possibilities. Again she thought she scared him, but it's not the case... not the first time he's been held close to a maw full of dagger sized ivory and surely not the last time either.

Hm, I am quite curious how this story will turn out. The dragon seems kind enough so far, though we (or at least I) don't know enough to determine if she is really good or evil.
I really like this scene, the idea of being close and personal with a big creature like that, even in just a casual conversation. I feel like just reaching out and petting her on the snout! Looking forward to the rest of this series, thanks again for sharing with us.
