Devon's disguise as a human is funny in that it can fool anyone besides Elves. Elves are very aware of the minute differences within their anatomical makeup, so Devon just kind of looks like he's dressing very strangely. The beard baffles them in particular.
We've also decided that Elves in this world have much more complex expressions and body language than other races, with more tiny details and differentiations, allowing them to communicate less with words, or no words at all if they so choose, with other Elves. Because it's a trait unique to their own race, it doesn't really translate to people of other races (and vice versa) and their motives and thoughts are a bit harder to hide from each other.

Unfortunately, it probably won't be a while until we get to publishing comics for this, but we'll keep you guys as updated as possible (which is more or less constantly, considering how often with draw these characters) on the subject. We'll also be making a webcomic series soon that will cover some random nonsequiter stuff of theirs - funny side stories and events that happened in the campaign that just didn't fit or feel necessary in the comic for publish. We may also add their dreams to it; we've been randomly generating dreams for them every night and many end up pretty silly.
I want you to know that I would buy all of them if you came out with public published comics. If not, you can expect frequent donations on an open comic.
All your little scenes and memes and shit it's just too much. I can't even remember their names, just "The cockney bitching giant" and the "Gunslinging homoerotic cowboy elf", and they are still my all time favorite characters. BI
