So, I just found out something very interesting. Apparently the Japanese endings to CTR are different from the US ones, with the Japanese endings being interviews instead of epilogues.
What's more interesting is that Ami and Isabella's endings are reversed in Japan! In the Japanese one, Isabella wants to become a racer while Ami is working to be a movie star (getting a part in Tiny's movie rather than Bay Waters). Meanwhile Liz just wants to get a pet and Cortex is asking for Megumi's cell phone number XD
So this explains why in the few Japanese fanarts of the game, Isabella is always shown as the determined looking one...but wait, how do we explain this discrepancy? Ami's ending made her one of the most likeable ones of the crew! The solution? FRIENDLY RIVALS! Yup, they're BOTH racers and budding actresses! So yeah...had to draw something to that effect XD
