I'm still new to this owning rats but since i got my first i'm madly in love with them ^^ my male is a spaz so perhaps the females will be less spazy XD

Ive kept many rodents over the years, some were pets, and some had other uses, my first rat was intended to be snake food, but I eneded up falling. In love with her after my snake decided he wasnt hungry that day. She was awesome, and would curl up with me when I read books, come when I called her name, and sit on my shoulder when I walked around. She had a buddy, but she wasnt as sweet, likely because she wasnt as well socialized. They were good little girls though :3

And I think spazzyness is just a personality quirk, hopefully he will chill out though lol

naw i dun mind him being a spaz cause when he gets in a mood he chases his own tail XD and ther is really only bout a 2 week or so diffrence between the male and the females

and actually all 3 of the rats i own where actually ment to be snakefood, however i'm not a nsake person and I've heard good things bout rats

My female dumbo managed to get out and open my males cage door so I may have a unexpected litter coming...not sure!

Well i most definitely wont be breeding them. that and with the screen tops i have on there and then a few ancors on the corners to make sure the lid doe stay on even if it is sitting in place well.

I wasn't planning on breeding mine. But my female obviously was a determined little thing!

the albino one i'm gonna call vanilla bean i beleive and then the one with the brownish head is gonna be named taffy

And fortunately for you, agoutis (at least in my experience) tend to be more robust because they lack the genetic manipulation that more "interesting" colors have.

Robust can describe a flavor, but also a state of health. In this case it means they tend to be able to fight off illness better.

If you still have Digger and intend to put him with these two, get him castrated and wait a few weeks. You don't want to deal with unexpected litters.

ha no way digger is gonna be seperat from these too. i dun plan on breeding them

Good call. You could get him castrated and put 'em together but castration is kind of pricey.

true right now i'm lookin into that option but for now they both have thier own little set up ^^
