Nothing particularly special, but still one of my early Photoshop trials from many years ago so I figured it deserved a place here.

Back in high school I had a friend message me and state he need my help very urgently. I was concerned and asked for details. He provided the picture of the phoenix you see here and stated that he found it on the internet, and that it would make an AMAZING desktop background, and he needed it converted into such within the next 30 minutes.

After I stopped laughing, I went out and found the backdrop, and a picture of flames, carved the requisite phoenix from its original piece and mingled all 3 together. A little creative use of the smudge tool helped me to blend the flames into the rest of the picture.

30 minutes later my friend has his so desperately needed desktop picture and made good use of it over the next few years
