So, tell me about the Teffishunshisk and their Nest Ships :D

Aaaaand, they didn't learn much, managing to escape half by accident, half by design.

Did find out, they were Itef (Alien race they were aware of, but I haven't posted artwork of yet)

The previously known Itef are:
Psionic
Hive Minded
Survivors from the Trimvirate era - They were eaten in vast quantities by the Houmi, both to savor their experiences and to put a damper on their psionic resistance.


These Itef are:
Called something else
Divided into at least two philosophical factions, roughly Legacy and Destiny outlooks
Number in the low millions aboard this nest ship
Have at least 800 extremely powerful psionic individuals that can combine their abilities into a magnified psionic gestalt force
Carrying at least one Droyne ancient AI Psionic robot in their midst (Black Angels)
Investigating the fringes of Human space, and have captured/interrogated the Iliad, a Terran (American origin) deep space scout, some 80 years prior, and have captured/cloned its captain Samuel Houston, at least three times for some unknown reason
Want the Minsk and their ship the Zorilla, for unknown reasons
Fly in a multi-hundred million ton ship with its own integral fleet of support craft, that can scoop, can accelerate at at least 2G, and can jump (range indeterminate), and can gate access the center of a star's fusion core to a nearby planet to essentially incinerate its surface.

And my character is still a bit twitchy after that.

I really like this pic by the way. I think this Giant Death Sphere is even more interesting than That Other Famous One; it's got a Close Encounters look to it that's really funky.

Dyson sphere? Does it, in fact, draw hapless PCs into itself with a powerful tractor beam?

After the PC's failed to put themselves within the range shown in the picture (They jumped empty to the main world of the system instead of their USUAL practice of scooping fuel from the gas giant first), they managed to short-jump to an adjacent star system and escape - for now. Cliff hanger ending was shortly after emergency surgery in jump space (several of the ship's passengers suffered cranial internal bleeding from the psionic shockwave right before they jumped).

Weasels never go exactly where you expect them to ;)
