Oh that? It's supposed to be like a little laughing face or something. the "X" Is meant to be the eyes, and the "D" is meant to be the mouth . It had me pretty confused the first time I saw it to be honest. Once a friend of mine explained it to me, it kind of just rubbed off on me.
