More of my ongoing series of coyote studies. Over the past couple of days I've had a bit of a crisis of faith, worried that I wasn't getting anywhere with this sketching business. I'd made one really outstanding piece that surprised me, followed by an adequate one, but since then the best I've managed is average. Nothing close to my original.

I did this today, and I think I'm showing a little improvement. Not giving up seems to be key.
