I loved the dark dangerous atmosphere in that show... the sensation of legitimate terror and hopelessness that rarely penetrates from most drama & horror shows these days... not that I'm a dreary or depressing person, only that having genuinely scary bad guys is a great set up for making heroes to really care about and get emotionally invested in :D
