The final part of my Iron Author daily challenge series, this one less quite a bit less than 500 words; I end with a poem and some artful prose that I may lower the curtain to.
A cautionary rhyming tale about the common sin when someone's love is found without instead of from within

Thanks for reading, everybody.
The Lovers Rhyme
To see beyond the human soul,
within its prison heart;
one has to know the inner whole,
as greater than the part.
To taste the fragrant dew upon,
such heartstrings as we pluck;
with airy tunes and hopeful song,
the minstrels try their luck.
Not every man that skill posses,
nor every lady swoon;
when swiftly does a man profess,
his love beneath the moon.
For others there exists the taste,
for might instead of mind;
where strength of limb would woo with haste,
the body quite the find.
And yet still others would declare
that height reigns over all;
it matters not how smart or fair,
so long as they are tall.
Still rarer one can find the want,
for tender care so true;
deep romance an endless font,
to bind them as a glue.
Desiring these traits and more,
we seek out on a date;
someone who succeeds at the core,
to be our perfect mate.
But warning heed and always choose,
to see them as a sum;
the surest way in love to loose,
spurn all for missing one.
