in my case, is just my body... it loves to produce then... those stones are calcium + oxalate, don´t matter what I do, they come back. But this one was biggest one so far!

My Aunt had to get hers removed surgically. She gets them every year because her kidneys don't produce enough emzymes. She keeps in a jar, lol.

That's my theory, at least.
I mean, what I'm saying is that if the kidney's produce an emzyme that breaks up these unwanted proteins, there must be a lack of emzyme not present to break it down small enough.

I had one a few years ago that was horribly excruciating, put me in the hospital overnight on morphine to be able to stand it. The doctor thought I would pass it after that, but it turns out what I felt was it passing, since once I got out of the hospital there was no more pain. Either it broke down and dissolved or it was very small, because I never saw it. If that is what a stone so small could do, I can't imagine what one this big would do...

Do you intake relatively high quantities of sodium in your diet? Do you drink fluorinated drinking water and/or consume an excess of fluoride? Do you ingest enough potassium and magnesium in your diet? Does your diet consist of an excess of animal proteins (meat)?

According to Wikipedia, potassium and magnesium consumption may help to reduce the formation of kidney stones. (Also, I am in no way a medical professional; I just did some research on it to see if I could help.)
