There is a nuance to it, but I guess it comes down to how you want to define love.
Generally the argument is that there's love and there is lust. If you could choose another word for lust, it would be infatuation. It's the type of immediate, instant falling head over heels type of feeling, where it's based purely on superficial qualities instead of actual understanding. It's a quick affection, gained through nothing, but has the potential to grow into something. Sort of a like versus love, in another interpretation.
For example, an individual that supposedly falls in love with someone because of a certain quality they have, be it looks or popularity or humor or demeanor, does not necessarily actually love the person, just holds a strong liking for them.
Not to say love can't develop quickly, but it does really develop. Love at first sight is merely infatuation to me. It's the facade, the guise that people use to shroud their base and primal feelings. It's something easily lost when they find a flaw. Love lost isn't love at all.
But that's just what I think of it. Ask a hundred people, get two hundred opinions, so to speak.

I'm serious most of the time, but with close friends I can be silly. actually i'm kind of good at being dramatic, lol, when i'm too quiet for too long my workmates ask me to say something silly (inside jokes, sometimes it is yelling or singing something), and so I do, and we all laugh.
