No, the blue spot is only the part where the shingles were lost. The actual piece of plywood lost is about the same size as the fallen non-ceiling. The blue is the color of the temporary tarp they put up.

Oh my, I hope all is getting taken care of... I also had damage to my home but not as bad as that.. a 400lbs deck was moved 13 feet to the road (wasnt anchored down) tree limb fell on the roof, and the siding on the house was peeled off.
