My favourite is every single friday. It's always the same group of people that come in, and start telling me how things are.
Jacka- er, Customer: "What's the price of your 6 packs of Coke?"
Me: "$3.49. It goes on sale tomorrow 2/$5"
Cust: "Your sale starts today. It should be 2/$5"
Me: "Nnnoooo. Our sales start Saturday. They always have."
Cust: "No, it says in your flyer it starts Friday. Do you have the new flyer? Let me see it."
Me: "Alright. *Gets flyer, points to flyers date* It says Saturday to Friday."
Cust: "Right, but I get the flyer in the mail on Fridays so it starts Friday."
Me *Points to the fine print at the bottom that specifically states "Prices in effect from Saturday, X/Y/ZZZZ to Friday, A/B/CCCC"*
Cust: "Oh well then I'll just come back tomorrow." *storms off*

Heheh it's all just a big game to me, can't help but laugh :D

So, I work in a box office for performing arts and we allow exchanges if there are multiple performances of the same show, the customer just has to bring their tickets to us and pay any applicable fees... So, yesterday, this one lady calls and says she needs to exch. We tell her we need her tix to do the exch... "Oh, I've never had to do that before! I don't understand, why can't you just do it over the phone?" (Well, there's no way for the usher to know your original tix are invalid, so we'll basically be just giving you a new pair of tix.) I look in her account and there's a note from April with a quote! "You mean I have to mail in or bring my tickets to you? I've never had to do that before."
