Well here's my band's lineup. Josh and Sky are the latest to be added so the recordings I have up do not include them. We plan on changing that soon though, given the plans to release a full length album by Halloween and shoot a music video this month.

That's Josh and Seth's idea. I was going for something by Christmas, at least giving us around 5 months. But yeah, three months to write 4 to 6 more songs on top of the six we've got now. Also includes composing an album intro and interlude and maybe possibly an instrumental outro
Of course...the two easiest jobs in the band are the ones saying "three months, no problem!" Even five is steep, especially when you consider production and mixing, artwork, all that. My,best advice is say fuck having a deadline, or set a vague one like spring of next year. Then you don't have to rush and sacrifice your sound.

Oh I know. I'm trying to give us padding and saying having a release around Christmas, the others want to be more ambitious and put something out right away having a release date as October 30th. Me and Skyler have the capabilities in writing the other songs, he's got an album worth of songs and riffs he wrote himself but hasn't done anything with. In the past week me and him have written two songs ourselves are just waiting for Josh and Mike to catch up on the riffs and Seth and Josh to put vocals to it. Given this is Seth and Mike's very first band, they're being super ambitious and setting goals without really knowing the weight behind them.
Artwork shouldn't be a problem at all, I've already got artwork done and a couple other concepts ready for print. Between me, Skyler and Josh we have hookups that can and are willing to help us out, like I said, the other three just need to catch up and learn their parts and get them down to a T.
