I've wanted to make this for a few years now, and for Anime Expo I finally had a good reason to! :D

The eyes were drawn with Fabric Pen - something I've been wanting to use for a few months now too.

AUUUGH! The cuteness is overpowering!!!!
But as to the way you sew it, how do you like, add that streak of orange on his head? I've been trying to figure it out maself.

Well for the hat, it's basically a half circle - which is four triangle-sorta pieces sewn together. First I cut out the two blonde triangles for the face, and then I got out my orange fabric and sort of laid out where it should spread across his face, then I cut that out and sewed it to each triangle before sewing it all together.

...That sounds kinda confusing, sorry if it didn't make sense I can try again if it doesn't. X3

Actually it makes PERFECT sense! I made a hat like this before using the exact same method you just said. But with the orange thing, sounds like its gonna be quite the thick fabric to sew xD

Haha, well it's not too hard, it's an extra layer or two between different parts, but I used a machine anyway so it was nothin'. X3 Just make sure they're a little bigger than the border!
