This is another fursuit-referenced picture, borrowed from

I have a confession to make, I sorta don't have permission to post this picture. At least not yet. I noted the guy (gal, apparently!) when I finished the picture a couple of days ago but they haven't looked at it yet, judging by the account it seems like he (she) may not sign on all that often.
So, if they tell me in the future they don't want me using this I'll take it down, but I like the results and I'm impatient so I wanted to post it. D: Hopefully they don't mind!
Anyway, I chose this picture because the background could be easily simplified and because I wanted to work out how I would do more detailed objects, like leafy trees seen up close. I was worried I wouldn't be able to pull it off but I have to say I rather like the results. It's simple but the hint of ink really brings everything together.
I made the background a bit more flat than I would have liked- oops- but I'm pretty happy otherwise. I hope you folks like it!

Her? Girls don't exist on the internet! I don't believe it. x3 But certainly, if you know her that would fantastic. I really don't want to be posting pictures like this without permission but I really liked the results, and it seems after a few days my excitement won out, haha.
From what I understand- don't quote me on this I may be wrong- but as long as you give credit I don't think you even need permission to post something like this, at least from a legal standpoint. Asking first seems like the polite thing to do, however. :P I can't imagine anybody ever saying no, but who knows!
If you found them on Google or something equivalent, I'd say just go for it. If you can't contact them at all, leaving a reference is the best you can do and should pretty much cover you. As long as it's actually your own creation and you're not tracing or anything silly like that, of course. :P Just had to throw that out there, not actually saying you'd do such a thing. x3
It's really cool to see you trying new things and expanding as an artist, and I think it's going really well! I'm no artist, but with any hobby, a lot of people fall into a rut and just do the same thing over and over, and while they may be good at it, they can't expand their abilities very well.
Tho summer is upon us here in sweden. The sun is shining, it's warm, all is well, i just adore fall <3 It's so nice to be out walking when the nature as exploded in colors.
