Gonna see how long I can keep doing a daily doodle for.

Another pastel-fart. Its almost starting to look like I know what I'm doing with them. Don't be fooled.

she looks super happy. ive never used pastels before they've always Striken me as really difficult to work with. but she is very pretty

They take some getting used to! But I think they are doing a lot of good to my general drawing technique. I can't rest my hand on the paper like I normally do (gah smudges!) so its forcing me to use my whole arm.

Smudging can be very usefull for effects in pastel ^^ btw I find colour shapers very handy to have when working with pastel, helps with some of the fine detail ^^
