this is dakota, he is 17years old.. No im forcing him to stay there he has problems holding his body up so Im supporting his head with one hand and supporting his body with the other.. I love this dog, I will never be able to replace him with anyother dog in the world, he has always been there through rough times in my life and he loves me for me.. <3<3<3

Awwww, I know what you mean about being there, I lost my Bandit at 12 from cancer, it tore my heart right outta my chest. I actually ended up in the ER a few days later from not eating due to severe depression. Enjoy him while you can, but always keep it in your mind that when it's his time, don't deprive him of it. I chose to stay in the room and was holding onto Bandit, I took him and had him individually cremated, to this day I burst into tears when I think of him, I've tried to replace him with another dog and have had 5 for trial adoption. *big hugs going out to you*.
