How is CS6? Is it a significant improvement over 5 or is it like what cs4 was to 3?

I'm unfamiliar with 5, but it's REALLY different than 3 or 4. Not so different that I can't find my way around, but it seems like quite a leap. I'd recommend trying it out, at least!

Oh 5 was a leap like nobody's business. They introduced a dozen new tools and made it more oriented towards artists' needs as well as photo editors since so many artists use it. I'll try to pick it up!

In CS6, you find the brushes run a lot smoother for you then other versions of PS? I find they're really snappy and responsive (had some lag before on my end) I love CS6.

Also great pic :3 nice crispy lineart and amazing colours.

I actually haven't messed with the brushes yet (drew this in SAI), but that's what everyone tells me! I'll have to try it out.

I actually use Paint Tool SAI for drawing/coloring, so I couldn't really answer that one! I've been meaning to play around with using it for drawing, though.
