it's all i have....
for some reason, i just haven't wanted to draw at all the past couple days. but i really wanted to do something for the 4th of july, so here is...if almost 5 hours late. Nix with a sparkler, and my red-white-and-blue outfit (PJs) that i wore most of today cuz i had nothing to do. i hope you like it, sorry if it's too dark for anyone. it's supposed to be dark and i have a really bright screen...
i have thise whole pretty scene in my head for this picture. Nix on a deck high above and overlooking a city, the lights visible and twinkling down below. as she looks up at a beautiful fireworks display coming from the city, and holds onto her one little sparkler...i'll probably never draw it though. i'm terrible at backgrounds...

Aww sweetie, we're going to have to rectify this for next year, definitely. Spirit and I didn't get to see the fireworks either. Sucky story behind that, but that's not important right now.
I really hope you get the confidence up to draw up what you imagine. It sounds like such a lovely scene. Maybe you just need more motivation for it. Maybe next year you'll be able to fulfill it. This picture though is very lovely, and really touched me even when I first saw the thumbnail.
