Actually i drew the sketches on top of each other, then i seperated them to this layout and finished them. I just started with the human head and ended with the werewolf, but it would have been easier to draw the first and the last and fill in the between steps ^^;

that's an interesting way to do it!
I did a sculpture series once of a perfume bottle turning into a skunk. I did the first and last, then the middle one, and then the second and fourth ones. It helped me a lot! You can see both where you started from and where you are going for each sculpture.
