A bit of a halloween kinda theme here but not exactly, I had mention to my-twisted-logic (deviantart) that Ishan had well... enormous Spiders.

To explain: Ishan's aracnids evolved rather differently, instead of evolving countless species that were only around the size to kill insect and tiny animals they became huge armored monsters that only a few dozen species exist of.

This species is amoung the largest, its called a "hooded demon". The males are much smaller than the females (this is a female) with the same coloration but much smaller abdomen. Also they are extremely intelligent but aren't reconize as an "advance civilization" because they do not live in groups, only coming together to mate.

Generally hooden demons will only kill prey within their enormous webs (usually large flying animals) however if an animal is killed near their home they are known to scare off the predator and take the prey (as seen here).

Not much to say on the mechanics of the drawing beyond the background was fun to do (and yes, the spider isn't hairy but shiny).

PS: the animal that's dead is simply called a Unicorn (a single antlered white species of dear).
