My daughter is mentally handicapped. She will be lucky if she can ever even speak half as well as Derpy did, if at all. And I don't find Derpy's character offensive in the slightest. So to those who want to dispose of this beloved character because of some imagined slight against the handicapped, shame on you. Go find something more meaningful to do with your lives than throwing a wrench into the gears of a children's television program.
