Pics are of me being a derp- which is why they are in the scrapmound!
I have a new fursona named Serabella. I'm still a hedgie at heart, but she is a secondary character for me. She is a magpie, and I'm just kind of working on her on the side. She's going to be a partial so thats as long as the torso is going to get, and she will have a head, tail, and feet. Thats it though.
I got the main part of the wings fixed on today. THEY ARE NOT DONE at all but they are now wearable.
I still need to paint the markings on the wingtips and make it so my armpits are not sticking out. I also have to trim down the inside so the stock used for the wings to make them wingy stops poking me in the elbow and armpit.
Thinking about running it through the machine just for safety... lack of stretch and all. But most of it had to be handsewn.

I know how to make fabric hooves, but they are really hit or miss. Sometimes they come out great- like the Boat's hooves, and then sometimes they come out like crap- my Satyr hooves. I actually have delayed posting that costume for a year because the hooves are so bad.

Umm, not working on, but trying to upgrade/fix.... It's Gizmo Gitty's feet, I need to make better hoof feet for him, and I might be trying for another head peice for him as well, just wondering if you had any ideas that could help me with it... I love your work btw! ~wags tail~
The core is a stiffener my friend found at Joanne fabrics. I am unsure what it is used for, but it was with the interfacings. There is a version that is double sided adhesive, and another that is only one side adhesive. Basically i cut the stiffener out into the shape I wanted, then sewed fleece coverings. Then gently ironed to get the adhesive to stick to the covering.
