Pinkie doesn't have to do any field whatchamacallit. Remember "Feeling Pinkie Keen", when Fluttershy is pulling a cart full of frogs through the air, and she stops to talk to Twilight, and she hovers in one spot, yet the cart stays in place behind her instead of falling? Yeah. Pegasus ponies can do that.
