Man, that gap from f/2.8 to 1.4 makes a huge difference. A very good shot =) Might crop for a slightly more 2/3 or golden ratio on the subjects eyes. Well done =)

It does! 4x more light, in fact X3
And i generally don't follow the rule of thirds, but i do agree that there's a bit too much black space on top. ^_^
