It sure is late eighties/early nineties up in here. Done between commissions, sometimes you have to draw something obnoxious and incoherent.

This sailfish was washed ashore and found itself hustling in the Detroit underground, for instance. It smokes fishing rods!

Creating a alternate Detroit with awesome sailfish men is a legitimate artist statement.

It's at least more legitimate then painting white canvases and claiming they help you see how many people are in a room.

90+% of all 'legit artist's statements' are straight-up horseshit anyways and are an excuse to make vagina pillows and 360-degree panoramas of the inside of teapots and such. I would say you've earned some fun. 8V
