With some heavy wing beats stirring up years of dust and neglect within her chambers, she would lift off, slamming into the wooden roof above them. Thankfully her captors never thought she would be freed from her shackles as the wood offered no reinforcement. With a triumph roar she would echo her scream of freedom for all of her frightened former captors. She did not stay long, nor did she even take vengeance. Perhaps because she had Nero on her back and wished not for him to come to harm... or perhaps it wasn't in her nature to kill out of anger. Soon enough the earth below would become smaller beneath them. With the wind rushing over his body, the young man would cling tightly to her scales. His eyes watching below as the landscape far down slowly passed them by. The occupants whenever any were seen did not pay the skies much attention. he had to wonder where they were going, only to be assured with assuring flare somewhere safe and comfortable.
