- Here is a sample pic of one of the types of LED lighting systems we build for the Furusit heads. These use omni-directional LED diodes, with a 1/8 watt Metal-Film resistor in each LED, with all internal soldered connections sealed completely to keep moisture and the corrosive salts from sweat from causing damage over time.
- This unit runs on 2 AA Alcaline batteries, and have a average 30 to 40 hour continous run time, ( more than enough for an entire convention worth of suiting on one set of batteries.
This system here is designed to be installed in a head with glowing yellow eyes and some other illuminated parts of the head.

I am surprised that 3 Volts is enough to power those LEDs especially 6 of them in Partial Parallel-Series layout. Most, if not all LED's we come by require anywhere from 4.2 to 5.6 Volts.
Ofcourse, I'm no electrical engineer but I should at least know my math on most of this.
BTW: this is Husky speaking from FOK!

Light Emitting Diodes have two volatage maximum ratings, Forward Voltage and Reverse ( or inverse) voltage.)Lower forwad voltage LEDs work brihter on less battery voltage.
Example, there are availiable now some very bright high-output mini LED flashlights that can be close to 1 watt LED on just a single AA battery of 1.5 volts.
