While out wandering around, my kangaroo rat, Gnash, came upon a strange vulpine. Despite the skull-like head and hollow, glowing eyes, Gnash couldn't help but find the friendly playfulness of Azeroth to be rather adorable. Getting down on his knees to better say hello to Azeroth, Gnash found himself almost mesmerized by the canid's gaze. When his soul began to get sucked out, he simply allowed it to happen, finding Azeroth too charming and playful to deny allowing him to devour his essence. <3

I love how this came out. The body postures and expressions on both characters just beautifully captures the playful friendliness to the encounter, despite the fate about to befall Gnash. The lighting and colors work gorgeously to enhance the eerie deadliness taking place, while remaining peaceful and almost loving. The glow from the soul adds a wonderful illumination on their bodies, and I also love the way that Gnash's clothing came out. Just a marvelous piece all around. :D
