Description: Ben has a light golden coat. His tail is feathered. He has a shock of messy blond hair, slightly darker than his fur. His eyes are brown. Ben is rather tall, and physically fit, though not muscular.

Costume: Waverider wears a primarily grey spring wetsuit, having short sleeves and legs. The shoulders of the suit, as well as a stripe down both sides, are blue. In the center of the chest is a symbol of a wave. His wetsuit is somewhat bullet-proof, able to withstand small rounds. He wears a blue domino mask, and an ankle band with which he can call his surfboard. Waverider does not wear any footwear.

Weapons/Items:
• Waverider has a hi-tech surfboard, issued by the BOS. The surfboard is in the style of a fun board, 7’ 5” in length. It is lightweight and incredibly durable, able to withstand powerful impacts, bullets, and explosions. The surfboard has various functions: It has a tracking device. It is fitted with a cloaking device, turning invisible. It can hover a few feet above the ground. The 3 stabilizing fins are very sharp. And more.

• He carries a small aquatic breathing apparatus that holds about two hours of oxygen.

Powers:
• Water manipulation: By manipulating and keeping water beneath his surfboard, he creates a never-ending wave that carries him and his surfboard, even across land and sky.

Strengths:
• Waverider knows a few styles of martial arts, including muay tai and tai chi.
• He can submerge with his surfboard and still move at impressive speeds.
• The levitation and cloaking abilities of his surfboard allow it to come to Waverider unnoticed.
• He is able to, when submerged, camouflage himself to look as though he is made of water.

Weaknesses/Limits:
• Unlike other water users, Waverider cannot form or manipulate ice.
• His surfboard can levitate only with very little weight. In order to move quickly, Waverider must use his powers and carry the board along with his makeshift wave.
• Waverider cannot create water, so water must be present for him to use his powers.
• Waverider cannot breathe underwater, so it is possible for him to drown.
• His water camo ability is difficult, and he can only do it for ten minutes or so.

Personality: Ben has a dichotomous personality. In one moment he can have a laid-back, go-with-the-flow attitude. However, he is also an adrenaline junky, and will do whatever it takes to have a good time. He’s smart, but only is driven towards his interests. Ben is very friendly, and rather charming if one can get past his surfing lingo, and he loves to help out others.
