This picture is nothing at all like what I set out to have it be. Different idea, different species, different colour and gender and clothing and everything. It all just changed. Some pictures refuse to be what you planned them to be. S'kinda cute though so I'm alright with the results.
Scanner's still being kind of mean, but I quite like how I went about the brick wall here. Simple, fast, but fairly effective. The verticals are a bit off, but I can live with that. I hope y'all like it!
Oh, and for those wondering about my three-word sketches, don't worry. I've got a few done and I'll be doing many more, I'm just going to wait to post them until I've got a fair amount and I'm going to make a collage sort of deal, as opposed to sketch flooding.

To be honest, if they're not a commission or an original that someone offers to buy off me, they sit in a pile on my shelf gathering dust. I don't like looking at my own pictures enough to hang them on walls, and I don't really live in a situation where I can do that anyway. :P
It may be a little while longer, but everyone who commissions me is put on a list and can't commission me again until I can't fill journals anymore. If you check your journals once a week, you are -guaranteed- to get a spot in time. I promise ya. It might not be soon, but it will definitely work in time. :3
It's kind of nice to see a boy posing bottomless for once, and in such cute leg, arm and tail warmers, to boot. I like his style! Though I see where you said the gender changed as you worked, and I think he'd have made a really cute girl, too. Then again, I'm fond of girly boys, as well as androgynous and/or ambiguously gendered characters so he's cute no matter what! (What an awkward sentence that is, too.)
I like the brick wall he's lying on. I see what you mean about the wonky lines, but I don't think they really hurt anything and it just kind of makes the wall look old and kind of warped, the way they can sometimes get. Especially with the cracks you added in. I love the sly expression on the boy's face, too. He looks like a fun one.

I draw on my lap most of the time, which is comfortable and convenient but also gave me the really bad habit of drawing with my page at an angle most of the time. It really throws off my vertical lines, they tend to be at a slight angle which is really annoying and unsightly. It works out alright for this one, but I really have to stop doing it, haha.
But yes, I have to admit I'm a bit of a warmer addict. They make everything instacute, so when I started working on something cute here I just couldn't help but cover him with them. Warmers make everything better. x3
