So Redstripe had to walk back to the den to ask his parents and littermates for help after his accident (previous picture). They soon discovered that neither of their other cars could pull the Rolls-Royce back on the road--nor could both other cars together (they were a 1938 Pakcard and a 1929 Ford Model A.) So some of the family went out to the nearest farm and asked the farmer if he would come with his tractor to retrieve Redstripe's car. He agreed, and once at the accident scene, the car was soon on the road again.
Redstripe (me) and his littermates, parents, etc., are characters in several stories which I have written (I haven't finished a single story yet!). In real life, however, I'm an only cub. No littermates. I do still live with my parents, though (as of 7-8-2012).
I'm not sure wether I will ever post any of my main stories on Fur Affinity--they're very long (some are well beyond 200 handwritten pages, and I don't feel like typing all that out just to put on FA!) Plus they're meant to be illustrated, and on FA, text and images must be seperate, it seems. I do plan to get these stories published sometime soon, though.
In this picture, Redstripe is in the foreground, with one of his littermates pushing on the car as the tractor pulls it out--not that it's really necessary to help the tractor! (I think it's Lightning, one of his brothers, since Lightning is the only cub besides Redstripe himself who will readily get muddy.) The farmer, of course, is driving the tractor (a 1915 International Harvester Mogul 30-60). In case you're wondering, it has a kerosene-burning internal-combustion engine.)
In the stories I have five littermates, plus three siblings form a later litter, making for one extremely large cougar family! And just as unusual, my father never left the scene as male cougars usually do, before their cubs are born.
This picture is a sequel to "Off the Road". ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8314672/ ) It was done with markers and colored pencils.

So that's how he gets it out .
You know what you could do? You said your stories are meant to be illustrated, right? You could always draw a picture and add part of the story behind it to the description . Kind of like a picture book you could say. Or, if you have the stories on your computer, you could also copy and paste a few chapters at a time. That's kind of what I do for the stories I write here. I prefer to only do one chapter at a time, but I write my stories on my computer, and when the chapter of the story I'm doing is complete, I copy and paste it into a submission here.
Those are only suggestions. Your pictures are really awesome either way^_^. Keep up the great work
