Quite possibly the greatest story I've ever read--which is saying something, because I've done a lot of reading.
I wouldn't be able to share with you the connection without giving away some massive spoilers, is the thing. Suffice to say that the zodiac symbols are of considerable import to the series.

I can't say it was easy for me, I loved the job. I'm keeping the characters though, so you'll see more of some of them (to them, I can't say goodbye. I love them way too much for that). Just not in the right order or in any official-material style. Or even regularly. But some of them, I have to do more of. I'm looking forward to being able to paint more of Vartan and Lambert (they came and passed so fast!), I also have a very neat idea for Rupert the Cancer rabbit and Bary the shark.
I have all fourteen of them set for more than a year now. If they decide to use them, I don't know. But considering the chairman took over as the creative director and knows as much about creativity as he does about tactfullness (which is next to nothing, maybe even going to the negative side of the scale), I'm starting to pray they won't.
But there's a comic project I might be a part of in the future, and if that is true, these guys will make a stellar comeback.

I understand how that can be and I hope for your sake that you will retain all usage of your characters. I definitely look forward to this comic project when it comes out. You have fantastic vision and I am very eager to see what you will do with them (and what all the others are!)
