I started this painting on my birthday as a treat for myself back in February, but I lacked time to finish it. But luckily Kur0 decided to help me out and sponsored me to finish the painting! She got the high res file in return for her help.
So here is my character Nym, enjoying her morning tea. It's going to be a hot day judging by the cloudless sky, so she's taking advantage of the cool of the morning to have a hot beverage. I actually own this cup, and it is quite large. But since Nym is a tiny character, it looks even bigger in her little hand-paws.

*giggle* I showed this picture to my boyfriend and said "awww isn't her character so cute!" and he said "aaawww she is!" and then i read out the bit about the cup being big but it looks even bigger in her little hand-paws and he said "AWWWWWWNO! STOP IT! IT'S TOO ADORABLE!!" XD
this is gorgeous, but it saddens me that you didn't even have enough time to finish your own birthday present :c I hope the future gets less busy for you, because you deserve more time to do what you wanna do

Hahaha, yaaaaaay! I am glad Nym could have such an effect. ^^
I am actually really happy working on commissions, I enjoy the process and other people's ideas. But I do sometimes wish I had some more time to develop my own art. For a while there I was doing well at making time for my own art, but the busy season of the year has really hit for me so that's kind of tough to work around. Still, I'm so thankful Kuro helped me. <3
