Little gift pic done for a little black drake named

Galis. Unfortunately his hair came out rather mop-ish, but at least my rendition of the mysterious stuff is starting to look more like actual hair instead of a mass of creative geometry! Slow improvement is better than none!

Why thanks! They're pretty fun to do and give some nice practice on facial anatomy. I need to start working more varied facial expressions into them though!

wow thats got to be one the the best gifts I ever seen anyone get. love the lighting on the face and the details of the scales on the neck.great hair to, just brilliant.!

Awwww, thanks! Though the neck is supposed to appear tattooed rather than scale patterned! I haven't had too much luck with working on scale texture, as it by and large utilizes really intricate highlight/shadowing and I'm not sure I have the patience/skill for it yet!
