Baby bunny skull I got as part of a trade with someone. He's so darn adorable, and teeny tiny! About the size of a quarter. <3
I really love baby animal skulls, they're my favorite thing in the world to collect. They're so cute, not to mention I just love seeing how different they are than mature animal skulls.
I don't know what I should name him...
I'm thinking either Thumper (from Bambi), or Bunny, after one of my favorite musical robots.
I have plans to name my future jackrabbit skull Rabbit, after the same robot (Rabbit- Steam Powered Giraffe) so I'm not sure if I should have two skulls named for the same person. XD

I collect all kinds of skulls yes. Baby animal skulls just happen to be my favorite to collect. :)
Though it is really sad that the animal lived such a short life, I like baby animal skulls because I like to study the developmental anatomy of them vs. an adult skull. I think the differences between a baby and an adult are fascinating. All the baby skulls I get die from natural causes, be it stillborn, roadkill, etc. I don't kill animals or buy from anyone who does.

No, I am not psychotic or anything of the sort. I have no mental illness, no urge to kill anything or anyone for that matter... I truly love the natural world as a matter of fact, just happen to like dead animals and science.
I am planning on studying Osteology and animal anatomy in my future college courses, and also planning on becoming a taxidermist.
I realize that dealing with dead things and death and general is extremely taboo in today's world, but just because I collect animal skulls does not in any way mean that I am going to become a serial killer. It's just not right to even think that just because someone collects animal remains, that they are psychotic. That's a very big, and wrong, view/accusation.

It certainly isn't, which is partly why I enjoy my hobby so much. It's different, breaking taboos, and unique. Most people don't do it, but when they see my art and collection they are surprised by it and generally like it. :)
If you take the time to just look at my gallery and see my paintings, you'll see that I'm in fact a perfectly normal person who wants to celebrate the lives the animals had by bringing beauty to their remains, while at the same time enjoying collecting and studying them.

Honestly, I've known this person for the longest time, and seeing her psychotic? HAH. I'd be more apt to commit some sort of crime or serial killer for someone insulting with my friends then her just collecting skulls.
If she didn't cause the animal harm then there's no reason against her hobby, yes it's a little different then what normal people is the norm; but so what? At least it's not like she has a cellar of human body parts in jars and a imp tied in the corner.
My point is, you shouldn't go around telling people that their hobbies are weird and accusing that they are gonna end up as a murderer just because she likes to learn, ignorant people like that just piss me off.
If you don't like the picture or hobby just bypass it like the rest of the people who aren't trolls of the internet, and go to the next and ignore it.
Posts that are purely complaints are a waste of time and a waste of server space.
Thank you, and I'm not saying this to be mean, I'm saying it cause I'm offended as her friend, and honestly don't think you have a right to judge her just because of a photo.
