Time for a little blast from the past.
This is the first “fursona” i ever had. Because when you start off in the furry fandom, 99% of the time your first character is 1. a canine of some sort (dog, wolf, or fox) 2. some kind of cat, domestic or feral or 3. a dragon
Meet Woulf. He was designed when I was thirteen and first joined the fandom. He’s pretty stereotypical for an emo kid high school freshman: a black wolf with red eyes.
There were really two sides to him - and me - for the period of time that I used him. The first side was the innocent side; the kid that I really was. I just wanted to be a normal kid and have a normal life and have fun and go to furry cons and just enjoy things. The other side was basically a monster.
For those four years, I was a real asshole. I hurt a lot of people and said a lot of things that I would never say now and reveled in causing emotional pain and suffering to people that I didn’t even know. I got swept up into the group I was in that only had trolling and harassing as a goal and purpose to the point where I even tried to direct a lot of it. I even named our trolling group “gayfaggotinc” to try and be as offensive as possible.
When I left for college I left all that - and Woulf - behind. I made another character, then a little later I made Bill. I changed a LOT, and realized that I didn’t have to resort to hurting people to make myself feel better. Making others happy did the work with a lot less effort needed and a lot more payout.
