Actually.. it reminded me instantly of this... Varekai from Cirque Du Soleil http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzKu_8O-ycw its just a short piece called Aureus.. so beautiful
This is really, really cool. Everything about this is just top notch, it has gotta be your best piece that I've seen! The lineless painting, the detail on those wings, the crumbling effect and the overall mood of the piece, its just super interesting. I can't stop looking at it!

The fur effect is so good. Especially at the points where it spikes in multiple directions.
I would say though, that the fragmenting effect is a little flat. Seems like we should be able to see the far side of a bulky tail breaking apart separately through the closer stuff. Unless its intentionally flat to make it look like a flat image at the breaking point

I would guess this was inspired by the movie "transcendence"? It was indeed an interesting movie.
There are so many things that science, and religion, brings up as possibilities that I love to think about. And if one of those possibilities is true, then what would that mean. But all that is for another discussion, another time.
